Physiotherapists Registration Board
The Minster for Health appointed the Physiotherapists Registration Board on 20 May 2014.
The Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU has statutory responsibility for the:
- Establishing and maintaining a Register of members of the profession
- Assessing, approving and monitoring training courses for the health and social care professions under the Act
- Establishing the code of professional conduct and ethics and standards of performance to which radiographers must adhere
The Board will also be the designated Competent Authority following the opening of its Register (expected late 2015) and from then will be responsible for recognition of qualifications gained outside the State.
