Health Promotion and Improvement

Health Promotion and Improvement aims to embed preventative health measures and messages in the settings where people are born, live, learn, socialise and work.

Lifestyle behaviours impacting on health will be addressed such as smoking, alcohol consumption, physical inactivity and obesity. Collaboration across the health sector and with key external agencies and organisations to effect improvements in individual, community and population health will be critical.
