The European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2005

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) Regulations 2002 (S.I. No. 483 of 2002), as previously amended by the European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 257 of 2003), the European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 451 of 2003), the European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 528 of 2003) and the European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 (S.I. No. 228 of 2005)

These Regulations implement Commission Directive 2004/77/EC of 29 April 2004 as regards the labelling of certain foods containing glycyrrhizinic acid (which occurs naturally in the liquorice plant) and its ammonium salt.
