Minister Reilly to lead the London St Patrick’s Day parade

The Minister for Health, James Reilly TD, will lead the London St Patrick’s Day parade as part of an extensive programme of events for his visit to the United Kingdom.

Already, as part of his busy 5 day programme of events, on Wednesday, the Minister has visited the Best of British and Irish trade and travel show in Birmingham where he met with Irish industry representatives as well as attending a lunch hosted by Tourism Ireland.

Also on Wednesday, in London, the Minister met his British counterpart, the Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt, MP, Secretary of State for Health at the Health Innovation Expo as well as attending a business networking event hosted by Enterprise Ireland.

Yesterday, the Minister continued his visit with another set of meetings with Enterprise Ireland client companies as well as a series of meetings with Irish community organisations.

Today and tomorrow, the Minister will be attending a number of cultural events and further business-related networking events. In particular, on Saturday the Minister will attend the St Patrick’s Day Festival Ball.

On St Patrick’s Day, the Minister will lead the London St Patrick’s Day Parade from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square as part of the London St Patrick’s Day Festival.
