Minister O’Malley Opens IWA Resource and Outreach Centre, Carlow
Mr. Tim O’Malley T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children today (Thursday 25th May 2006) officially opened the Irish Wheelchair Association resource and outreach centre in Carlow.
The Minister commended Irish Wheelchair Association for its nationwide work in the provision of services to people with limited mobility. He congratulated everyone involved with the Irish Wheelchair Association on their contribution to the delivery of services to people with disabilities.
Minister O’Malley said “I never cease to be both amazed and impressed at the commitment of the many people I have met to ensuring that people with disabilities and their families are afforded every opportunity to enhance their daily lives. This combination of services can only be achieved when everyone involved in the delivery of services actively works together in partnership.”
