A national Strategy for Science, Technology & Innovation (SST&I)
A national Strategy for Science, Technology & Innovation (SST&I) was formulated in 2006 and formally expired at the end of 2013. The Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation (DJEI), is considering issues that might be addressed in a new SST&I and has convened an Interdepartmental Committee (IDC) to ensure that the new strategy benefits from a whole of government perspective.
DJEI and the IDC have prepared a consultation paper which sets out some background to a range of issues to be considered in the formulation of a new strategy.
Written views on the questions posed in the paper are invited from interested parties by 23 March 2015. See further information here.
